I just purchased the strap but why does it have adapters and a 20mm strap at checkout?
This item is bundle of a quickfit adapter pair with a compatible quick release strap. It's itemised separately at checkout so that our team knows which to put together before shipping it your way.
Do I need to purchase spring bars for this?
No! These simply latch onto your existing bars on your watch. You will only need spring bars if you've lost your spring bars. These spring bars can be purchased here.
Will this work on my non-Garmin watch?
Yes and no. The quickfit connectors require special 2.3mm thick spring bars to latch on securely. The only other known brand that uses these are some Coros watch models.
But if you remove the quickfit connector, the quick release strap will fit standard lugs and watches with 20mm lug width.
