excellent watch straps

Both my partner's and my Garmin Forerunner 955 straps were starting to come loose, with the strap band stretching out.

So, we decided to replace them at the same time. She, with one of the silicone bands, and me, with this one.

Unfortunately, they have been woefully inadequate. Mine is worse, but both have been very disappointing.

Both suffer from a fundamental flaw that it appears would apply to ALL Strapify straps for our watch: the clasp at the join with the watch points down at the wrong angle, and does a FAR worse job at wrapping around the wrist than the Garmin strap. That makes the watchface "sit up" above the wrist in an unattractive and irritating manner.

Mine suffers two more issues, due to the materials:
1. The little strap bands don't stay put, even though they are brand new. I presume that because they are not just silicone, they don't "stick" to the strap, so they do a worse job than the stretched out Garmin equivalent that I sought to fix.
2. The finish on the "Alligator" leather look is barely noticeable. In the pictures, the band looks great. Like a reasonable fascimile of real alligator skin. But mine looks like plain white faux leather, with a mild stamped line through the centre.

Overall, I would not recommend this strap (nor my partner's silicone strap) for any reason.
